Congratulations to Nancy Galib who was awarded 1st Place for “Just Floating By” in the Streams, Creeks, and Water Category of the Nearby Nature Photo Contest organized by the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust.

Nancy also won 2nd Place in the Smart Phone Snaps Category for her image entitled “Blue Beauties.”

The photographers who entered their images into this contest display a love of nature and an appreciation of how photography can inspire people to care about the life and land of the outdoors and to work passionately for their protection.
