NVPS members have been invited to exhibit framed prints at The Frame Factory. Prints must be delivered to the venue by Friday, January 15th before closing time. The show will actually be hung on Wednesday the 20th. A reception is scheduled for Sunday, January 31st. More details on that later. The show will last thru the end of February.

The Frame Factory has room to hang at least 50 prints, there is no restriction on size (within reason). Those of you who don’t have time or energy to frame your prints yourself, the store is offering a discount to exhibitors. They will need at least a week to do the work, so drop off your matted/mounted prints early the week of the 15th, to allow enough time. I have been given a quote of approx. $35 for a standard gallery frame for a 16 x 20″ print that is already mounted and matted. If your prints are already framed, please make sure they have wire on the back for hanging purposes.

A flat fee of $10 will be collected from each exhibitor, some of which will go to buying food, etc, for the reception. Also, a standard release form will need to be signed.

So please sign up! Get those prints where the public can see them. This is another chance to display your work.

You are welcome to bring your framed prints to the meetings next month, to my house, or to the venue (preferred).

A sign-up sheet will be posted along with this announcement. Save it to your documents, fill it out, and email it back to me as we will not have any meetings over the holiday season.
