Photo Show at Frame Factory
NVPS will have a show at The Frame Factory framing shop.
Here are all the details as briefly as possible:
- The Frame Factory is located at 212 Dominion Road NE, Vienna, VA
- The show will be from January 11 to February 12.
- To participate, you need to sign up at a meeting or email
- The images must be framed. That means matted and put into a picture frame with a wire for hanging.
- Melanie Marts and I will collect framed pictures at meetings in December, dates to be announced later. Pictures may also be dropped off at the Frame Factory in January.
- At this time, we are asking for one image per participant, but this may change. The Frame Factory is very large.
- Pictures must be priced for sale although there may be some exceptions.
- We will have an opening reception on Saturday, January 12 with a snow date of the following Saturday, January 19.
We have worked with the Frame Factory before and know it is a great venue. They have about a dozen shows per year and the community is aware that they are a source for artwork for the home. Check out their website, http://theframefactory1.com/. We will have a loop of our images during the show. They will also offer participants a discount if you choose to have them mat and/or frame your picture.
If you have not shown your work before, this is a great opportunity to display your best work. We will help you with matting, framing and all the other details that arise. This show is not juried and there is no theme. Just show your favorite work and watch the public admire it.
