Things to keep in mind:

  • August 6 – September 7, 2023 is the MAPV image submission window for Nature and Photo-Art competitions.
  • MAPV will be virtual on November 5, 2023.  They plan to return to a full in-person event with speakers, workshops, photo exhibits and vendors in November 2024.  
  • Confirmed speakers for this November so far include Simon d’Entremont, Rad Drew, Julianne Kost and Tim Grey.  Watch this space for more details soon.
  • Passes for MAPV 2023 will go on sale online on September 1, 2023.

We hope you are out there taking photos and preparing them for entry. Multiple categories exist for both competitions and you can submit a maximum of 6 images in the Nature categories and 6 in the Photo-Art category.

Our Nature and Photo Art competitions will begin accepting entries on Sunday, August 6, 2023. The Nature competition categories are birds, wildlife, macro, water, landscapes, and flora. The Photo Art competition categories are architecture/agriculture/industry, abstracts/altered reality, people, studio photography, sports/action/adventure, and other.
