David Kravitz was awarded 2nd Place in the Streams, Creeks, and Water Category by the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust for his image “Peeking Through” in the Nearby Nature Photo Contest.

The photographers who entered their images into this contest display a love of nature and an appreciation of how photography can inspire people to care about the life and land of the outdoors and to work passionately for their protection.
