Burke and Herbert Bank 2020 Calendar – Photo Contest

Back in the summer of 2019, the Burke & Herbert Bank announced a call for photography submissions for inclusion into the 2020 glossy wall calendar. Specifically, the bank was looking for photos that captured the rich variety and diversity of the region’s neighborhoods, landmarks, panoramas, and landscapes through all seasons of the year.
Twelve final photographs were selected to be featured for each of months in 2020 and two members of the Northern Virginia Photographic Society (NVPS) were honored:

George Karamarkovich (Red Headed Duck – March, Burke Lake Autumn – October, as well as an Honorable Mention Tree Swallow)
Kirk Johnson (Jefferson Memorial – August).

In addition to their photographs being displayed and receiving photo credit on the printed calendars, the photos will also be displayed on the Bank’s website, on social media pages, and potentially in additional media coverage.
