    President’s Message

    • September 2020 – Message from Ron Taylor
Greetings to all of you.  This has been a summer like no other in our collective memory, and the 2020-21 Club year promises to be among the most challenging in our 55-year history.  I have no doubt we are up to the challenge. In a normal summer, Board members would be enjoying time off from Club responsibilities.  We would be traveling, taking classes and trying, as you are, to become better photographers.  Instead, this summer we have been busy preparing for the new Club year, and we have made tremendous progress.  We have booked speakers and judges, scheduled education and training activities, identified locations for field trips, investigated ways to market the Club, improved our outreach to new members, and updated materials. We have also been busy learning new ways to […]

November 8 – 10, 2013 – Nature Visions Expo Open Theme Exhibit

Many thanks to those of you who took the time to participate in this exhibit, as photographers and volunteers. As you know, this is the first year for this open themed exhibit, which was launched as an adjunct show to Nature Visions, in order to include those photographers who like to create non-nature images.

The show will be held in Beacon Hall, just across the street from the Hylton Center. There was space for 159 prints to be hung, and a total of 170 from the 7 camera clubs were received. It was decided that space would be found for all 170 prints, so nothing will be juried out. A total of 38 prints was entered by our club.
