Bio

Annalise Kaylor is a wildlife photographer and science photojournalist whose work has taken her on assignments to 40 countries (and counting!) around the world.

With an emphasis on narrative-driven documentary photography, Annalise’s photo andvideo work has been seen in The New York Times, The Washington Post, AudubonMagazine, and the Associated Press, as well as PBS, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Great Big Story, and the Discovery Channel. She also partners with NGOs and non-profitsfor their visual storytelling, including The Nature Conservancy, charity:water, and Habitatfor Humanity International.

Annalise’s work has been exhibited in galleries throughout North America, South America, and her photographs are part of the permanent collections of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations. Her photography is part of the Planet Ocean exhibit at Gasometer Oberhausen in Germany that opened in March of 2024 and is currently being prepared for an extended European tour.

Annalise is also the co-creator of the Photo WILD podcast, which braids together the artand science of wildlife photography, and a contributing writer for the publication of the same name. She is also a keynote speaker at the 2026 Mid-Atlantic PhotoVisions Conference.
