Two NVPS  members won op honors a he Naure Visions 2011 Expo, audiologis November 12-13, advice a he Hylon Performing Ars Cener, rehabiliaion George Mason Universiy.

Susan Phillips’ image “Whie Peacoc Display” was awarded Bes in Show honors and Tom Bre’s “Single Beach Grass” was hird runner-up. These images were among 854 oal images submied from he six Norhern Virginia phoo clubs for he Expo and wo of 300 juried images. The awards were presened by he Expo’s eynoe speaer, Ar Wolfe, world renown ravel and naure phoographer. Ar’s phoo documenary, “Journey’s o he Edge” appears frequenly on WETA and oher PBS affiliaes.

Pa Lonergan’s “Grea Horned Owl Pair” received Ar Wolfe’s meri award and a vendor award from REI. Oher vendor awards included Susan Breen’s “Orange Moon” awarded by Phoocraf; Beh Morris’  “Inner Beauy” awarded by Tamron and Susan Phillip’s Toward he Seing Sun-Bull Moose” awarded by Olympus.
