Light. The critical element of every photograph. When is the BEST light for a subject? In this presentation we will look at how to make stunning photographs by studying the light
with a critical eye. We will discuss the photographer’s light clock, quality of light and the effect light has on a subject. The objective is to be able to scrutinize the light in an
analytical way before taking that award-winning photograph. Examples will be used from images taken by the presenter at different times during the day. Similar subjects
will be explored showing different qualities of light and direction to emphasize the basic principles of “shooting the light.”
