The Portfolio Project has completed another successful year.  Congratulations, and a huge thank you, to the thirty-one participants of this year’s Portfolio Project! We think you should take special pride in your portfolios and how they came together in spite of the pandemic.  We look forward to seeing where your skills and interests take you next season!

With so many people in the project, we divided everyone into two groups and were lucky to have Brian Zwit for the first review and Cynthia Keith for the second.  Both of our reviewers provided thoughtful and insightful comments, the kind of educational program that benefits the entire club.  And for both evenings we were again treated to creative and beautiful collections of images by the participants.

Since 2007 the Portfolio Project has given NVPS members a chance to develop an in-depth body of work during the club year. Subject matter is up to the photographer, who writes an Artist Statement and compiles a group of images in support of their concept.  Everyone is encouraged to participate.
