Hi Everyone, Please join us for our first Program of the New Year! Ian Plant will be presenting his magical new "Dreamscapes", some of which were featured in the November 2009 issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine. Ian's landscapes aren't abstracts, and they're not entirely literal either. For our January Program, Ian will discuss the use of unique tools and techniques to transform the scene beyond a documentary shot.

Ian Plant is a professional nature photographer and writer living in Virginia. His photographs and instructional articles have appeared in a number of books, calendars, and magazines, including Outdoor Photographer, Popular Photography, National Parks, Blue Ridge Country, Adirondack Life, Wonderful West Virginia, and Chesapeake Life. Ian is also a Contributing Editor to Nature Photographers Online Magazine. Ian recently co-authored two books, released this spring, published by Mountain Trail Press: "The Ultimate Guide to Digital Nature Photography" and "50 Amazing Things You Must See and Do in the Greater D.C. Area: The Ultimate Outdoor Adventure Guide." He is the photographer of six other books, including the critically-acclaimed "Chesapeake: Bay of Light."
