The topic of the forum presentation this month is "Judging a Photographic Competition - The elements a judge looks for in a winning photograph." with Joe Miller
Joseph Miller frequently speaks, critiques, and judges at photographic societies. He writes extensively on a number of photographic subjects with particular interest in visual communication and design, judging photographs, and judging judges. He works out of the Joseph Miller Center for the Photographic Arts where he holds workshops and classes for serious photographers. He was instrumental in the creation of the Northern Virginia Alliance of Camera Clubs. His photography has been influenced by the renowned international photographer, Freeman Patterson, from whom he has taken workshops in Canada and Africa. The Forum will be presented after the Members Gallery Presentation on Tuesday September 22nd, 2009 See Joseph Millers presentation on "What Judges Look For".
