Competition
Mar 17th, 2009 - Competition with Judge Judy Switt
Judy Switt joined her first camera club in Michigan in 1966. She moved to Maryland in 1972 and immediately joined the North Bethesda Camera Club. She has been on the NBCC board in one position or another, including President, since 1973. She feels that there is no better way to enjoy a club than by becoming a member of the Board or its committees and sharing your time and abilities. While in Michigan, Judy met Larry West and John Shaw. They, along with Freeman Paterson and Andre' Gallant have shaped her love for photography. And, of course, Joe Miller has taught her all the do's and don'ts of visual design. Along with her long-time photo-partner, Gordie Corbin, she has presented programs throughout Maryland and Virginia as well as in neighboring states. They have written articles for national magazines such as Popular Photography and Petersen's Photographic and have judged camera club competitions and PSA International Salons. In addition to writing, speaking and judging, Judy's photographs have been published and exhibited throughout the area and have won top Popular Photography and Natures Best magazine awards. Judy Switt will be the judge for our March 16th competition. Please join Judy and Sandi for dinner at Chili's at 5:45 prior to the competition. Note: please remember that the
rules of competition for NVPS state that all parts of entered images must have
been photographed within 2 years of the competition date. Sandi Croan Co-VP Competitions pashli@nospam!#*&^#)type address - don't copy spam protection(*@.@nospamaol.com Matthew Schmidt Co-VP Competitions
