This message addresses four changes that impact NVPS Members who compete in digital competition

1) The Digital Upload program has been completely rewritten.

2) Digital Upload now requires a user id and password.  

3) Image specifications have changed with the purchase of a new digital projector. 

4) A new email address has been established to help support technical needs of digital competition upload. 

1) The Digital Upload program has been completely rewritten

The Digital Upload program was rewritten to accommodate the changes in the NVPS competition rules (changes in available competition categories and one competition without date restrictions), to accommodate the new file sizes supported due to the new digital projector, and to improve the security and maintainability of the upload program. Board members assisted in testing the new program to ensure as little disruption as possible in the competition upload.  Should you have any problems or need any help please contact competitionsupport@nospam!#*&^#)type address - don't copy spam protection(*@.@nospamnvps.org. As always, the competition upload window is open 2 weeks prior to the competition date, and closes at 6pm the Sunday before competition (example: upload opens on Sept 6th for the Sept 20th competition). 

2) Digital Upload now requires a user id and password

To upload images to the NVPS website you must use the following user id and password.  This change, along with a number of new website security measures, has been instituted to help protect the NVPS website and its content. For obvious reasons this information will not be posted on the website or in Fotofax. You will be prompted with a login dialog when you click on the link or navigate to http://nvps.org/dc/. The user name and password are: 

Email competitionsupport@nospam!#*&^#)type address - don't copy spam protection(*@.@nospamnvps.org for user name and password.

Once you properly enter the user id and password you will be directed to the new digital upload program.

3) Image specifications have changed with the purchase of a new digital projector

With the purchase of a new digital projector you can now submit larger images with a maximum width of 1400 pixels and a maximum height of 1050 pixels.
