Any and all images that have won a ribbon (1st, 2nd, 3rd or Honorable Mention) in a monthly competition from September 2008 - May 2009 are eligible for submission to the End Of Year (EOY) Competition. Judging will take place off-site sometime after the last competition on May 18th by Elliot Stern. Results will be available at the EOY Banquet which will be held on Friday evening, June 5th (details for the banquet will be in separate article) and on the website following the banquet.

We are now starting to collect your winning prints and slides and will continue to collect them each week all the way through the last competition. May 18th will be the final night to submit your winning images.

The competition team has begun collecting your winning prints and slides, and will continue to collect them each week at our meetings through the last competition. The May 18th meeting will be the last opportunity to submit your winning images for the EOY Competition.

To submit your winners, please follow the guidelines below:

Digital

There will be 2 clipboards at each meeting (novice and advanced digital) with the list of all ribbon winning images. In order for your digital entries to be entered in the competition, you will need to check off the images you want entered. If you don't check of your entries, they will NOT be entered. There is no need to resubmit the actual images as we have them already.

Slides

A slide carousel will be at each meeting with a sign up sheet. Please mark your original winning slides (no substitutions please) with the name of the image and your name.

Prints

All prints in all categories that have won ribbons are eligible for submission. Images need to be signed in on the sheets provided (please print clearly) and placed in the appropriately labeled boxes (by Class and Category e.g., Novice Color, Enhanced, Advanced Monochrome, etc.). If only 1 box is there, then all can go in the one box.

You must enter the image as it was entered in the monthly competition - in it's original presentation. You may not alter the image in any way. The matted image needs to be in a plastic covering/sleeve for protection as it will be handled a lot prior to final presentation at the banquet. If you want your plastic covering/sleeve back, you may want to put your name on it.

All prints MUST be marked on the back with the following information:

Image Name

Class and Category

e.g., Sandi Croan

Caught

Advanced Color

Optional info can include Date of competition that you won the award AND what place it took
