During his high school years, David Kravitz had his own dark room and enjoyed exploring black and white film photography. Then life intervened. After college, graduate school, and a 40-year academic career, he has returned to photography, as he always intended, though he has left film for digital. He joined NVPS in 2019 and is immensely grateful for all he has gained from his membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Description of presentation

David\u2019s photographic interests are diverse, but\u00a0portrait photography is not an emphasis. He has\u00a0chosen\u00a0to present his photographs of people \u2013 drawn primarily from\u00a0his travels or local\u00a0public events\u00a0\u2013 with the hope that this experience\u00a0will help him overcome his hesitancy to ask strangers if he can photograph them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
