Sandi Croan is a fine art photographer who specializes in landscape, nature, and travel photography with an eye for capturing the unique and creating fine art for homes and offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandi has\u00a0been juried in and has\u00a0won numerous competitions\u00a0and awards\u00a0for her\u00a0fine art\u00a0photographs\u00a0including:\u00a0Photographer of the Year\u00a0and Print of the Year\u00a0numerous times as well as Versatile Photographer of the Year\u00a0at\u00a0Northern Virginia Photographic Society (NVPS);\u00a0Best Landscape and People’s Choice awards at Nature Visions Photography Expo;Best\u00a0in Show and 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0Place at the\u00a0juried\u00a0Meadowlark Photo Expo;\u00a01st<\/sup>\u00a0Place at the 2016 Art Space Herndon Fine Art Photography Exhibit,\u00a0and\u00a02nd<\/sup>\u00a0Place at Reston Artists PhotoArt 2015.\u00a0Her\u00a0images\u00a0are\u00a0on permanent display at\u00a0the Fair Oaks Hospital Cancer Center\u00a0and\u00a0Inova Schar Cancer Center.\u00a0Sandi was a featured artist in Elan Magazine, and her photograph \u201cBlue Lagoon\u201d was on the cover. She has also had photographs published in other local and national magazines.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, she was a finalist in Outdoor Photographer Magazine\u2019s Nature\u2019s Colors in 2021 with her photo \u201cSossusvlei 427\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandi has been a member of the Northern Virginia Photographic Society since 2004 and has served in a variety of board positions. She served as President of NVPS for two terms from 2009-2011. She also is a speaker and serves as a judge for area photographic clubs, competitions and exhibitions which she enjoys tremendously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
