He\u00a0hasreceived\u00a0many ribbons over the years within\u00a0NVPS, the Manassas Warrenton Camera Club, Huntley Meadows Park, the Ward Museum,\u00a0the\u00a0Audubon Society of Greater Denver, and\u00a0had an image with\u00a0the\u00a0U.S. Environmental Protection Agency\u2019s National Wetland Photo Contest.\u00a0He has been\u00a0repeatedly juriedinto Nature Visions Mid-Atlantic Photography Expo, in which a work was\u00a0recently\u00a0selected for the Nature Visions Traveling\u00a0Exhibit in 2014. \u00a0The\u00a0exhibit\u00a0appeared\u00a0at\u00a0the Washington School Of Photography, GW\u00a0Virginia\u2018s\u00a0Science and Technology Campus,\u00a0the\u00a0Workhouse\u00a0Arts Center and George Mason University\u2019s\u00a0Hylton\u00a0Performing Arts Center. \u00a0An image was\u00a0selected\u00a0by the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA)\u00a0which\u00a0will be printed in NANPA\u2019s 2016 Expressions within the top 100 images.\u00a0He has presented his images on television in \u201cPhotographers of Northern Virginia\u201d in 2004 and \u201cBehind the Lens\u201d in 2012. \u00a0He\u00a0also\u00a0held two photo exhibits at Huntley Meadows Park\u00a0during 2013\u00a0and 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Curtis\u2019\u00a0prime interest in photography is\u00a0nature, especially\u00a0wildlife. \u00a0He has visited many places\u00a0in the country\u00a0with\u00a0other photographers,\u00a0NVPS, NANPA, and takes part in the\u00a0yearly\u00a0Delmarva Nature &amp;
