{"id":7613,"date":"2015-08-21T17:17:38","date_gmt":"2015-08-21T21:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nvps.org\/home\/?p=7613"},"modified":"2017-04-04T10:21:55","modified_gmt":"2017-04-04T14:21:55","slug":"august-18th-2015-nvps-treasurers-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nvps.org\/home\/august-18th-2015-nvps-treasurers-report\/","title":{"rendered":"August 18th, 2015 &#8211; NVPS Treasurer\u2019s Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NVPS Board has kept dues at the same price for the 2015-2016 club year: $65 for family and $45 for individual memberships.<br \/>\nDues may be paid by check [to \u201cNVPS\u201d] or cash, with the fillable form from the NVPS website [under \u201cMembership\u2019\u2019, from \u2018\u2019All Things NVPS\u2019\u2019] &amp; given to the Membership Chairs [Judy or Paula] at NVPS meetings, starting on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1624235253\"><span class=\"aQJ\">1 Sep.<\/span><\/span>, or a check, with the\u00a0 form, mailed to Tom Brett, 4216 Wynnwood Drive, Annandale, Va. 22003-3453. You may also pay dues through PayPal, by way of the NVPS website.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2014-2015 NVPS club year, Board member expenses were kept within the budget.<\/p>\n<p>Annual expenditures during 2014-2015 were: $4,725 for the meeting hall rental at Dunn Loring Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department; $1,430 for Competitions [judge honoraria &amp; meals, End of Year [EOY] Banquet ribbons, trophies, plaques &amp; printed programs; $614 for Programs [speaker honoraria &amp; meals]; $376 for EOY Banquet subsidy; $400 for liability insurance; $332 for the NVPS 50th Anniversary celebration; $180 for WEB &amp; host server; $89 for Membership; $71 for batteries.<\/p>\n<p>The EOY Banquet cost for the Waterford meal &amp; support fees was $3,907 against ticket sale income of $3,531 at $35 per person. NVPS paid the $376 subsidy to allow ticket prices to be $35 per person.<\/p>\n<p>Income from Membership dues was $9,624 &amp; from sales of Spudz micro-cloths was $230.<\/p>\n<p>The NVPS bank account balance on 3 Aug. was $10,270, which will increase as dues are received in Sep. &amp; Oct.<\/p>\n<p>Please encourage your friends to renew or to join NVPS.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Tom Brett, Treasurer<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NVPS Board has kept dues at the same price for the 2015-2016 club year: $65 for family and $45 for individual memberships.
