As March draws to a close it\u2019s time to start working on a final tweaking of your on-line portfolio choices.\u00a0 For the critique put a maximum of 15 of your best images plus the artist statement in your folder.\u00a0 In the interest of time for the reviews you can have fewer, just not more.<\/p>\n
For the actual portfolio presentation, be it a book, prints, slide show on your laptop, poster, etc. you can include as many images as you feel fit your goals.\u00a0 There are numerous ways to present your images.\u00a0 Ginger will probably use My Publisher again, Mike Kane is using Moab, Roger Lancaster is doing a book and a poster of his images, and last year Willa Friedman did prints.\u00a0 Be sure to check out the excellent posting by Scott Musson from a couple of years ago at \u00a0http:\/\/nvps.org\/main\/f_stop\/docs\/PhotoBooksCalendars.pdf<\/a> for guidance.<\/p>\n Continue gathering images, editing, posting and refining!\u00a0 We are really looking forward to seeing everyone\u2019s final portfolios.<\/p>\n FINAL SCHEDULE<\/p>\n April 15<\/span> – Last day to sign up for project<\/p>\n April 30<\/span> – Last day to upload images to the Portfolio Gallery<\/p>\n May 14<\/span> – Final Critique<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Gaining access to the NVPS Portfolio Photo Gallery<\/b><\/p>\n 1.\u00a0\u00a0 Get registered as a gallery user by going to http:\/\/nvps.org\/gallery\/main.php and clicking on register<\/span><\/i> (upper right \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 hand corner). Follow the directions on the screen to get yourself a login and password.
