Roger Lancaster<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Roger Lancaster has been a member of NVPS since 2008. He has served in a number of positions with the club, and also served as President of Nature Visions, now known as the Mid-Atlantic Photo Visions, for two terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in Waterford, Virginia, Roger is known for his nature-focused portfolio that captures the beauty of Northern Virginia and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A native of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, Lancaster\u2019s interest in photography began at the early age of six. He was introduced to the craft by his grandfather, a photojournalist who allowed him to experiment with an old folding camera. This early exposure to the mechanics and art of photography laid the foundation for his lifelong pursuit of visual storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lancaster has lived in Northern Virginia for several decades and has been a resident of Loudoun County since 2014. His work is deeply connected to his environment, often featuring:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
