There will be a terrific mix of speakers, hands-on workshops, off-site shoots, the photography exhibit and vendor tables.&nbsp; Block off those days on your calendars now, you don\u2019t want to miss this event!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Be sure to follow the latest information about the upcoming event on Facebook and Instagram!\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MidAtlanticPhotoVisions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MidAtlanticPhotoVisions\/<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"font-size:20px\">Image Sizing Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There have been a couple of questions about the rules on sizing of entries and matting specs.&nbsp; Please follow the sizing instructions as outlined on the competition page under General Rules,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/midatlanticphotovisions.org\/competitions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>https:\/\/midatlanticphotovisions.org\/competitions\/<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0.\u00a0\u00a0Sizing is the same as for our club competitions.\u00a0 Regarding the matting instructions, without a visual it&#8217;s understandable that new members to the photography clubs can have questions.\u00a0 Our meetings for the club will resume the beginning of September and matting for competitions is usually one of the early subjects covered by Education and Training.\u00a0 There are also many members who will be available to help anyone who has questions.\u00a0 You will have time to get your accepted images printed and matted before they need to be delivered for the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Read the Rules and Pick Your Images Carefully<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The images submitted to date have been reviewed and a few have been rejected for one reason or another.&nbsp; For images submitted to the Nature Competition, evidence of &#8216;Hand of Man&#8217; continues to be primary issue.&nbsp; &nbsp;Any image that shows any manmade element is deemed ineligible for the category.&nbsp; This includes people, roads, fences, electric lines, groomed grass, trees obviously cut by a saw, etc.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One image submitted to Photo Art was of an animal and the review committee deemed that it should be entered into the nature category.&nbsp; Please read the rules carefully, if you think there might be a question make sure you enter soon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If an image is submitted after August 26 and is rejected you will not be able to replace it with another image.&nbsp;
