Lisa Cuchara, PhD, OM SYSTEM Ambassador, Master Craftsman (PPA), Master of Artistry (PPA), Master of Photography (PPA), HonNEC, is very passionate about photography and enjoys both being behind the lens and in the digital darkroom. She loves to photograph nature but finds many subjects equally intriguing. She appreciates the world around her and embraces the challenge of interpreting what her eyes see, and her heart feels, via her photographs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lisa met her husband Tom through photography, and they are both very active in many local, national, and international photography organizations. They have a photography studio for teaching photography as well as for portraits. They have had many successful gallery exhibitions, their work has been accepted into numerous juried exhibitions, and their images have won awards at the local, state, national, and international levels. Their photographs have appeared in Adirondack Life, Wild Bird, Birder\u2019s World, on calendar pages and covers, and on the cover of a fictional paperback novel. They have published two books with Amherst Media\u2015\u201cCreate Fine Art Photographs from Historic Places and Rusty Things\u201d is about their HDR and light painted images http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/lisatom-urbex<\/a> and \u201cThe Frog Whisperer\u201d http:\/\/tinyurl.com\/lisatom-frogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have presented a wide variety of motivational and instructional programs in person and via zoom to many photography groups\/conventions and teach photography and post\u2013processing and lead photo tours. They would love to have an opportunity to inspire you with their “Creativity is contagious, pass it on” philosophy and their \u201cDon\u2019t shoot what it looks like, shoot what it feels like\u201d approach. They love to Teach, Mentor, Motivate, and Inspire and hope that their passion and creativity will inspire you to capture beautiful photons and manipulate pixels with impact.
