{"id":2692,"date":"2015-04-28T20:12:00","date_gmt":"2015-04-29T00:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nvps.org\/home\/?p=2692"},"modified":"2017-04-04T16:27:09","modified_gmt":"2017-04-04T20:27:09","slug":"humorous-quotes-about-photography","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nvps.org\/home\/humorous-quotes-about-photography\/","title":{"rendered":"Humorous Quotes about Photography"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over the years I&#8217;ve heard some funny things said about cameras and photography.\u00a0 Some of them intentionally funny and some&#8230; I thought I would share a few.\u00a0 Perhaps you&#8217;ve heard some too?\u00a0 Send them in and I&#8217;ll add them to the list (webadmin &#8220;at&#8221; nvps.org).<\/p>\n<p>My current favorite quote about photography is: <strong><em>&#8220;Amateurs worry about equipment, professionals worry about time, masters worry about light.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My least favorite quote is: <strong><em>I&#8217;ll fix it in Photoshop&#8221; as I&#8217;ve heard it just too many times and wonder why don&#8217;t you get it right to start with?\u00a0 Wont it take less time?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here are some others and I hope some make you smile:<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nvps.org\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/smilycamera.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2693\" title=\"smilycamera\" src=\"https:\/\/nvps.org\/home\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/smilycamera.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"192\" height=\"153\" \/><\/a><strong><em>&#8220;This damned camera doesn&#8217;t know what it&#8217;s doing.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;What could possibly go wrong?&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;P mode&#8221; stands for Professional<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;What does this button do?&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;What do you mean shoot Raw?&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>They told me to turn mirror lock-up off &#8211; at which there was a kind of smacking sound from the direction of my forehead.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;It doesn&#8217;t matter how many you can shoot. It matters how many you keep&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;I shoot people, I see dead pixels&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;A definition of a professional photographer: A &#8216;pro&#8217; NEVER shows anybody the mistakes.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>&#8220;How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50.
