New Mexico calls itself the \u201cland of enchantment,\u201d a name that rings true after visiting its Bosque del Apache and White Sands National Park. Bosque, famous for bird photography, and White Sands, with miles of snow-white gypsum sand dunes, provided abundant photographic opportunities for seven NVPS members, led by Nikhil Bahl (http:\/\/www.nikhilbahl.com<\/a>), who is well known by the club as a judge and presenter.<\/p>\n

This Members\u2019 Forum will differ from most others by presenting the photographs of several photographers. While we traveled together during our week in New Mexico, our images often differ, reflecting differences in how we saw and captured the scenes of countless birds in flight or wind-blown patterns in the white sands. The NVPS members that were on the trip included: Stan Bysshe, Walter Keating, Jerri and Jim McDermott, Bill Millhouser, John Thomas, and Mike Whalen.<\/p>\n\n\n
