Not capturing the cute smiles that she wanted, Georgette switched from a point\u2019n shoot to a DSLR (Nikon D80) and took classes at Fairfax County Adult Ed with John Gonsalves. Eventually the relationship of aperture, shutter speed, and exposure fell into place. John instructed her class to <em>tell a story; fill the frame<\/em>! Her subjects include abstracts, people, places, and nature, but her favorite subject is flowers&#8211;close-ups and macros.
