\"\"<\/a>*** Field Trip was rescheduled from August 15 & 16 2020 by the event host, Flying Circus ***<\/p>\n

Please join us for an exciting day at the Flying Circus Air Show and Hot Air Balloon Festival. The Flying Circus is the longest running air show in the state of Virginia featuring antique airplanes, hot air balloons, formation flying, aerobatics and wing walking.<\/p>\n

When:<\/strong>
\nSaturday, October 3, 2020, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Rain Date \u2013 Sunday, October 4, 2020, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

The hot air balloon launch occurs twice daily between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The airshow runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., members can photograph the antique planes, meet with other members, or have lunch. Once ticketed, re-entry is permitted.<\/p>\n

\nFlying Circus Aerodrome, 5114 Ritchie Road, Bealeton, Virginia
\nThe Flying Circus is located 14 miles southeast of Warrenton, Virginia, and 22 miles northwest of Fredericksburg, Virginia. It is off of Route 17.<\/p>\n

Equipment:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>
\nCamera with tripod
\nWide angle, telephoto, and standard lenses
\nPolarizers and neutral density filters<\/p>\n

\nCancelations due to inclement weather will be posted on the scrolling banner of the website.<\/p>\n

The admission fee is $15.
\nShady areas might be limited so be prepared with a hat and sunscreen.
\nFood and beverages are available onsite, and outside food and drink are permitted.
\nRestrooms are available.<\/p>\n

Please carpool with only family members or those within your extended
\n\u201cbubble,\u201d wear masks when deemed appropriate, and ensure that you
\nremain six feet away from other visitors.<\/p>\n
