BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kristi Odom joined Nikon\u2019s elite Ambassador program in May of 2018.
\nAn internationally acclaimed photographer and sought-after
\nmotivational speaker, Kristi travels the world shooting, teaching and
\nsharing her insights. From destination weddings in Thailand to
\nconservation projects in the jungles of Borneo, she\u2019s always on the
\nmove, always ready to connect with others.<\/p>\n

She has received a Master\u2019s accreditation from WPPI (Wedding and
\nPortrait Photographers International) and won over 60 international
\nphotography awards. Her recent work has been exhibited twice at the
\nSmithsonian Institution\u2019s National Museum of Natural History.<\/p>\n

Low Perspective:Placing the camera low to the ground (October 15, 2019)<\/strong>: The idea is to change our normal shooting perspective by shooting images with our cameras close to the ground.  This will provide a great opportunity for creative shots.  Common objects can appear completely different when taken from a low perspective and can provide new compositional opportunities.  Get close and shoot up.  Back up and include foreground and foreground objects.  Get your tripod close to the ground, or free yourself from your tripod and get down low to the ground with your camera.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
