These include birds (some herons are \u201ccommonly\u201d seen), amphibians, and bugs, including dragon flies (and probably mosquitoes). NPS has a useful field guide to the birds at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/keaq\/learn\/nature\/upload\/Copy-of-Common-birds-of-KEAQ.pdf\">https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/keaq\/learn\/nature\/upload\/Copy-of-Common-birds-of-KEAQ.pdf<\/a> as well as similar guides to other critters.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The park\u2019s Water Lotus and Lily Festival begins July 15, and several club members have posted beautiful images of this year\u2019s blooms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll meet at the Gardens at 8:30 am on July 8, although you can arrive when the park officially opens at 7:00 am. We won\u2019t be doing a sign-up list for this trip; in case the weather is an issue, personal judgment will prevail.
