For this season we are working on a great mix of software instruction and fun hands-on opportunities.  In preparation for competitions we start off September with “Preparing Your Images for Competition”.  We’ll begin with suggestions for maximizing your digital images for projection, followed by a show and tell for matting before we break into groups in practice mat cutting.  Several mat cutting experts from the club will show you how to decide on the overall size of the mat, measure the opening, and share their techniques with the cutters.  Bring an image to mat, or just come to learn and practice.  16X20 mats and foam core will be available for purchase at cost.
