Ed hopes you will enjoy a presentation on “Creative Ways to Enhance Ordinary Photos,” sharing these discoveries and inviting others to see the extraordinary potential in everyday photography.
Medical Photographer
During his 45-year medical career, Ed Marion consistently used photography documenting patient records and preparing visual materials for teaching purposes. Prior to the advent of YouTube and digital cameras, he developed expertise in efficiently setting up 35 mm slide cameras and adapting to challenging lighting conditions presented by microscopes, endoscopes, and otoscopes, utilizing a range of film cameras.
Transition to Creativity After Retirement
After retiring in 2012, an entirely new skill set became necessary. This period marked a journey into exploring and discovering imaginative approaches to building composites and abstracts.
A New Artistic Direction
The pursuit of creative techniques led to the development of innovative ways to transform ordinary photos. Emphasis was placed on finding fresh perspectives and methods to enhance images beyond their original form.
