Beth Morris is our Forum speaker and will be showing images from her travels in England, including tours that she has led. She has been interested in photography since her grandmother gave her a Kodak Instamatic camera in 1982. She knew back at the age of 12 that photography was going to be more than just a hobby, when she was lying in the middle of the street in New York City, taking a shot of the World Trade Center straight up. She would not get up until she had the image she wanted, much to the dismay of her family.
In 2009, Beth started her own photography business with Robert Skerman, now called Morris Skerman Photography, specializing in photographic workshops to the south coast of England and the Southwestern United States. Primarily to Dorset, Beth travels to the United Kingdom (UK) four to five times per year, leading groups and speaking to camera clubs. She also brings UK residents to the American Southwest.
Beth is a member of the NVPS and the Weymouth Camera Club. She has won numerous awards for her photography. Many of her images can be seen on postcards sold in southwest England. Beth does not limit herself to any one form of photography; she believes that a good image can be taken anywhere.
