With fall colors out, Halloween approaching and houses decorated for the season, historic Georgetown will provide many photographic opportunities.  We can walk the residential streets and shoot the doors, windows and other architecture and do street photography in the commercial areas. 

When:            
Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 8:30–10:30 a.m. 
Rain Date: Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 8:30–10:30 a.m.

Where:           
Georgetown, Washington DC

Equipment:

  • Camera with normal range zoom lens (eg. 28-70)
  • Tripods can be used but are not necessary

We’ll meet at the corner of Prospect and Potomac Streets, NW in front of Booeymonger (GPS address: 3265 Prospect St, NW). There should be two-hour street parking available on the surrounding streets.  There is also a parking garage at 3251 Prospect Street, NW and a (more expensive) outdoor lot at 3220 Prospect Street, NW.

From our meeting spot we will be one block north of M Street , one block west of Wisconsin Avenue and three blocks north of the Georgetown Waterfront.  We will also be near the C&O Canal and Cady’s Alley.
