98% percent of the visitors to Yellowstone never see 98% of the park!

The average visitors spend two days visiting Yellowstone, with all their time on roads connecting them to the big-name features such as Old Faithful, Yellowstone Falls, Mammoth Hot Springs and some other geyser basin features. They seldom stop to even view some other features along the way in their rush to get to the next “big thing”. They “hike the board walks around some of the geyser basins but little else in their rush to “see it all”. There is so much more to see and do in the worlds first national park that is 2.2 million acres of treasures. I will share some the “undiscovered gems” that are simply over looked. This will be from my perspective as a Yellowstone Ranger and as a photographer, including boating, hiking, and even a little camping or sleeping on your boat docked at the public marina at the largest natural freshwater lake in the country.
