NVPS member Roger Lancaster is well known for his beautiful images of the barns of Loudoun County, where he lives. For this field trip we will get a chance to photograph some of those barns with Roger and then photograph, socialize and have a barbecue at Roger’s home in Waterford, VA. We also may have the opportunity to speak with some of the barn owners about the barns and their history.
We will meet at 9 a.m. at Roger’s house and then caravan, sharing vans and cars, to the various barns, spending 20 minutes or so at each location. By mid-afternoon, we will go back to Roger’s house for photography on his property along with some in-person socializing and a barbecue.
*This field trip will be limited to 25 people. An attendee list will be finalized by October 15, one week before the field trip. If we reach our limit before then, we’ll send an announcement out.
