Minnie Gallman’s Rainbow on Skye was a finalist in the Washington Post Travel Photo Contest. The 38 finalists out of 1,700 entries are displayed on the Washington Post
Website.

“The photo was taken with an iPhone during my trip to Scotland last summer. The bus stopped for a pit stop on our way to a hike in the Cullin Hills on the Isle of Skye. I had left my Nikon in the bus. When I walked down the hill, I saw this scene and took my iPhone out of my fanny pack. Another case of using whatever camera you have available.”

The Winners and Honorable Mention photos were published in the Sunday, August 25th Travel section.
