Spring has sprung and it’s time to capture some flowers at one of the nicest gardens in the country: Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, VA. The garden is comprised of 82 acres and contains more than a dozen themed garden areas, a conservatory and a large lake. In May you can expect to see roses (with 2,000 blooms in the rose garden), peonies and azaleas in bloom, among many other flowers. The garden also has a café and gift shop. On the day we will be visiting they will be having their annual spring plant sale and there will be live music and more than 40 vendors selling plants.
