Pete Duvall

Bio

After getting bitten by the photo bug in high school, Pete attended The Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts, graduating with Bachelor in Fine Arts in Photography. He began teaching at The Art League School that same year, and has continued since. He went full time freelance in 2004, and has a studio in the Gateway Arts Center in Brentwood, MD. His professional specialty is documenting artwork for artists, galleries and private collections. However, he has done a lot of commercial, portrait and event photography.

Clients have included WETA, The Marriott Corporation, United Health Care, The University of Maryland, The David Driskell Center, The Congressional Award, The University of Florida, The Hitachi Foundation, American University, NPR, Victory Record, DeSoto Records, Trustkill Records, and the Hillwood Estate and Museum.

He has been published in Spin Magazine, The Washington Post, American Craft, Punk Planet, Architecture DC, Art & Style and The Flow. Additionally, he has been published in many show catalogs, and music albums.

He continues to teach several classes every session at the Art League School in Alexandria. These classes include, Darkroom, Intro, Intermediate, and Night Photography.
