Subjects: flowers in the afternoon, water lily exhibit (in the middle of the Conservatory) just before sunset (6-8). Night time light show, “Nightscape” best shot after 9PM.

You have to buy tickets to the exhibits in advance. http://longwoodgardens.org/nightscape
The Nightscape ticket covers admission but these sell out fairly quickly. If you are interested I would purchase your ticket early.

For those wishing to spend the night instead of driving home, here is one list of hotels: https://www.tripadvisor.com/HotelsNear-g52926-d286194-Longwood_Gardens-Kennett_Square_Pennsylvania.html

There is a cafeteria at the Gardens that serves reasonable food.

What to bring: comfortable walking shoes, the garden is spread out. Tripod will give the best results for the night shoot, macro, wide angle and mid zoom should cover all bases. Diffusers and reflectors for flowers as needed.

At this moment I am not sure of the rain date policy.

There is ample parking and you can go back and forth to your car if you want to selectively carry gear for the time of day.

Please email me for questions and to let me know that you will be going:
