I discovered this quote while researching “inspirational quotes about photography” online. I have been reading a book each month about photography, and this month I wanted to read something spontaneous and different, and thus my search for some inspiration. What spoke to me about this quote is that its essence is about perspective. Recently I was reviewing an image with a photographer friend and a photo I thought had little going for it. She saw exciting potential….how did I not see it? Sometimes I become so consumed with other things, I disconnect from my creative sense and find it not only hard to make photos, but to edit or create the photos I have already made. I lose my perspective. One of the advantages of being a member of our club, is the opportunity to reset and fuel our perspectives with new ideas and learning in a positive, supportive community. NVPS is now into the second half of our club year. Planning and preparation for the next club year is underway. We are looking for volunteers to bring their perspectives and ideas to plan our club activities. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to any board member!
