DESCRIPTION:January 2025 Calendar by Eva Lanyi\n\n\n\nDescription:\n\n\n\nBecause it was so popular last year\, Members’ Gallery would again like to invite everyone to share their printed photo art\, images\, and projects on May 27\, the last Tuesday meeting of the 2024-2025 year.  Each NVPS member is encouraged to bring up to four prints or photo projects created in any manner of their choosing.  Books\, calendars\, greeting cards\, framed images\, matted images; unframed or unmatted images; images printed on (but not limited to) alternative media such as wood\, metal\, canvas\, and acrylic are just a few of the possibilities.  Why not coffee mugs or fabric? \n\n\n\nThe evening will give NVPS members a chance to share their creativity and ideas for showcasing their images outside the computer. \n\n\n\nThe club will provide wooden stands for matted or framed prints\, and any other media that require them.  Questions?  Please email Members’ Gallery Co-Chair Eva Lanyi at nvps-members-gallery@googlegroups.com.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMore Examples of Printed Material:\n\n\n\nBook covers from Tana Ebbole’s October 2024 print presentation on handmade books :

DESCRIPTION:During his high school years\, David Kravitz had his own dark room and enjoyed exploring black and white film photography. Then life intervened. After college\, graduate school\, and a 40-year academic career\, he has returned to photography\, as he always intended\, though he has left film for digital. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAlthough David’s interests are wide-ranging\, his primary love is nature photography\, especially when combined with travel. This presentation is drawn from the ~25\,000 photos he took when on two back-to-back safaris with Pangolin Photo Safaris in May and June of 2024\, primarily in Botswana
