DESCRIPTION:Bio\n\n\n\nJim and Jerri McDermott\n\n\n\nJerri and Jim McDermott have been active members of NVPS for over 10 years. Jerri was a librarian in the Fairfax County schools\, and Jim an economist in the federal government. Both credit their friends at NVPS with encouraging their learning and development as photographers. They’ve both migrated to using mirrorless Nikon cameras. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPhoto by Jim McDermott\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\n\nHaving lucked into a repositioning cruise deal\, NVPS members Jerri and Jim McDermott traveled to Hong Kong\, Taipei\, and along the coast of Japan in 2025. (Repositioning happens when cruise lines move ships from sailing in one geographic region to another. The cruises are sometimes less expensive than “normal” cruises\, generally less frequent\, but may not offer the same range of shore excursions.)
