Programs – (Zoom) Travel Light and Get the Shot with Derrick Story

March 4 @ 7:30 pm 9:00 pm

Description:

Overpacking is a challenge for most travelers, and photographers seem particularly susceptible to this problem, especially when embarking on once-in-a-lifetime adventures. The fear of missing a prized image because a particular camera, lens, or even a tripod was left behind lingers in the back of our minds.

But bringing too much stuff creates its own issues. Dragging large, unwieldy luggage through airport terminals, loading it in and out of shuttles, and even getting it all from the curb to the hotel room can require herculean patience.

There is a middle ground. We can travel light and still have the gear we need to return home with fantastic images.

In this talk, Derrick Story (thenimblephotographer.com) will share tips from his years of travel experience. He will help you make your next big trip both productive and enjoyable.
