Member’s Gallery – (Print) (In-Person) People with David Kravitz

During his high school years, David Kravitz had his own dark room and enjoyed exploring black and white film photography. Then life intervened. After college, graduate school, and a 40-year academic career, he has returned to photography, as he always intended, though he has left film for digital. He joined NVPS in 2019 and is immensely grateful for all he has gained from his membership.

Description of presentation

David’s photographic interests are diverse, but portrait photography is not an emphasis. He has chosen to present his photographs of people – drawn primarily from his travels or local public events – with the hope that this experience will help him overcome his hesitancy to ask strangers if he can photograph them.
