Member’s Gallery: (In-Person) A (Virtual) Tour of Dubai and World Expo 2020 with Judy Guenther

Judy Guenther’s Member’s Gallery will include images taken in February 2022 in Dubai, UAE―a city of amazing architecture, ports, beaches, and a world hub of finance and trade. Dubai hosted the World Expo from fall 2021 to spring 2022 (planned for 2020 but delayed by the pandemic). It was a jaw-dropping event with innovative pavilions, programs and people, and a smorgasbord of photographic opportunities.
Bio
Judy Guenther joined NVPS in the fall of 2015. She is an avid travel photographer who loves the process of photography from the capture to post-processing. She enjoys a variety of photographic subjects including landscapes, abstracts, colors, nature, wildlife, and people, but she is particularly drawn to architectural abstracts.
Judy is currently the editor of the NVPS newsletter FotoFax, and a member of the Art League in Alexandria, the Maryland Federation of Art, and the F11 Women’s Photography Collective. Her work has been juried into shows across the country, published in various journals, and received awards including grand prize in The Washington Post 2022 Travel Photography Contest.
