Bio:
Mike became interested in digital photography in 2006. His first camera was an entry level Canon DSLR.
He joined NVPS in 2009 and held board positions from 2010 to the present, including president in 2013.
He also volunteers weekly as a pet photographer for the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, and occasionally, as an event photographer for charitable organizations such as the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and The Epilepsy Foundation of America.
Joining NVPS was a significant learning opportunity due to the many club activities and inspiration from talented members.
His photographic interests include nature, landscapes, macro, people, travel and abstract photography. He currently uses Sony equipment and Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz for post-processing.
