Member’s Forum (In-Person): Iceland and Noisy Birds With Stan Bysshe

March 24 @ 7:30 pm 8:00 pm

A two part presentation on the challenges of photographing wildlife in low light and secondly an update on the latest noise reduction software for post processing.

Stan joined NVPS in 2011 looking for help with his photography. Up until that point his 40 years with a camera were primarily spent underwater. There he  graduated from a range-finder Nikonos to sophisticated housings and strobes for his digital SLRs. His images and articles were published in dive magazines and scuba destination websites. Prior to transitioning to land photography he taught underwater photography in the Caribbean.

Not surprisingly his photography today is “nature-centric”. He has been lucky to help guide trips to Yellowstone N.P., Alaska, New Mexico, Washington State and Florida. All along this journey NVPS has been a constant source for learning the art of photography.

Stan has helped with club field trips, competitions, mentoring and has served in the past as President.

He has enjoyed giving multiple presentations  to NVPS as well as other local camera clubs.
