Member’s Forum – Having a Ball with Sports Photography with Rena Schild

In this presentation Rena will discuss her work in sports photography, including what goes into making a good sports image, and will tell the stories behind some of her images. After the discussion portion of the presentation, she will present a slide show of her images from a variety of sports.
Bio:
Rena has been interested in photography since she received a film camera as a college graduation gift, but was sidelined by the practice of law until she had time to take some photography courses in the 1990’s. She then began experimenting with many types of photography, including family portraits, events, red carpet, sports, fine art and most recently bird photography. Rena is currently happiest capturing athletes and birds in motion but thoroughly enjoys all photography, especially outdoors. She joined NVPS in early 2020.
