Our Speaker for December (4th) is Mollie Isaacs of ‘Awake the Light.  Her presentation will focus on Abstract Photography.

Want to feel free and more artistic with your photography?
Abstracts can provide that and more. There are no rigid rules and no restrictions, allowing you complete freedom in what you create and how you create it. Abstracts are images using a combination of shape, line, color, and texture to create unique and compelling images. You can find abstract subjects anywhere from your kitchen sink to the wide world around us. Almost anything can become the makings of an abstract image. This program will show Before and After examples of how to find subjects and how to use them for visually appealing images. You will learn the finer points of composition, and how to use them for strong and beautiful images. This program will jump start your creativity and motivate you to open new doors for your own photography.

Mollie has been a professional photographer and experienced teacher for over thirty years.  Her specialties include nature and macro, as well as portraits of children and families.  She has studied with Ansel Adams and Joyce Tenneson, as well as others.
